Sometimes emotions could be referred as the spirit or the breath of life. It establish our actions and design our world. If you can master the emotions, you can master actions, and if you can master the actions, then you’re the master of all future realities.
Perceiving multiple layers of meaning in the negative space of life is what it’s call emotional mastery. It’s about seeing all of the potential and probability realities that could exist. Say for example there’s a homeless man asking for some change. Our decision or attitude toward this men is take effect of our emotions. We can see or think in his potition that this homeless man could be a byroproduct of his personal decicions or byroproduct of a culturan failure. we can think different thoughts and change our emotions in the moment. Therefore if we master the emotions, we can experience a different worldview and so we see differently in the future. We can find new ways of encountering or interacting with old things and all we need to do is listen, listen to the world in its many forms and shape. Had we listened to one anothers perspectives, or asked the homeless man for his perspective, we might have seen the whole situation or circumstances in a new light. So, how does we master the emotions? Here are the steps:
1. Listen, but more importantly, listen to points of view that we haven’t knew before or that are contrary to our own.
2. Feel diffrently, have a sense of our and others feeling.
3. See diffrently, don’t judge people by their appearance, but see in a lot of perspectives.
4. Gain knowledge that we don’t have.
5. Get experience something new.
“The very cave you are afraid to enter turns out to be the source of what you are looking for”, as it’s said by Joseph Campbell. We have to gain a lot of perspectives, knowledges, and experiences. Don’t be someone who has a narrow thinking.
