Love stories are always adapted into novel. Like a book of Hot Tea With Sugar, which also contains a love story. With language that is easy to understand and a love story that is not too complicated, this book is very suitable to be read by people who are experiencing fatigue or a lot of thoughts.
As the author of this book, Kammora has written many stories and adapted them into books. Starting from Wattpad, Kammora managed to publish many books that were liked by readers. Examples of books written by her are Rushing, Akad, Tiramisu, and others.
Hot Tea With Sugar was first published in major terms in April 2018. Initially this book was self-published. However, due to the enthusiasm from readers, Kammora received an offer from a major publisher to reprint Hot Tea With Sugar and make it available in all bookstores in Indonesia.
This book is very interesting. For me who don’t really like complicated things and make me think hard, this book is the right choice. The love story is very light but it can make our heart pound. Set in an office, Hot Tea With Sugar provides a love story between a woman – Raya – who works as a consultant with her client named Langit.
Raya works as a consultant in a consulting office. At the age of 26, she had been pressured by her parents to get married even though Raya had never been dating. She is too ignorant to deal with a man. Until one day, Raya was given an assignment by her boss, Gammar, for a meeting with a client named Langit.
The style of Langit is not neat, with long hair and clothes that seem like they are not office workers, making Raya disliked him from the start they’re meet. However, their regular meetings make Raya comfortable with Langit. Their hearts shake. Both of them really like each other and eventually have a relationship.
But, there is something that makes Raya less comfortable. Langit has many ex-girlfriends. Their relationship was tested by the closeness of Langit with his ex-girlfriend who is also his best friend, Ajeng. According to Raya, their closeness is unnatural. That man’s heart seemed to still be inhabited by Ajeng and Raya didn’t want to have a one-sided relationship. Will Raya maintain their relationship or choose to release Langit?
