Cahaya Maharani or more familiarly called Aya. She is a Javanese girl who is smart in the field of research, because Aya graduated from the Faculty of Forestry. Initially Aya worked in Bogor, West Java in the staff section, but because of her good work and was looked at by the director’s performance, finally Aya was sent to the interior of Borneo, specifically in the Borneo area. On the other side of the land, Aya met with some of her coworkers, even some people who Aya considered her own family there, so she was a little relieved by her longing for Javanese land and relatives. While in Kalimantan, Aya moved several times such places as in Sengah Temila, Landak, Menjalin. The main story in the spotlight in this book tells the story of Cahaya Maharani or Aya during his stay in the interior of Kalimantan until he finally returned to Java. Finding lots of friends, friends, colleagues makes Aya start to enjoy it, but it’s not as easy as one might imagine because there are some colleagues who are trying to bring down. The touching story is at the point of the life story in a minority area, because Aya is a Muslim who wears a veil.
This book is very interesting to read because of its content that tell the beauty of Kalimantan that is rarely known to many people. This book also provides many lessons for the reader. I recomended to you to read this book.
