Emptiness feeling here means like you are feel stranger to yourself. You’re not happy, but you’re not particularly sad, either. You will feel bored all the time and think that nothing else matters, and everything seems to be numb. You can feel despair that you can’t explain. Here are some ways for getting out from this uncomfortable feeling.
First, improve yourself. If you are feel this emptiness, avoid overcoming them in a bad way. Look for ways that can make you better and your feelings of emptiness also disappear.
Second, create something. Create something means here do such a great activity to help you divert your mind and avoid emptiness feelings. If you are focusing enough to creating something, then that empty feeling will not be your focus anymore.
Third, meditate. Focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear, emotionally calm and stable state. Meditate can make you realise that the emptiness feeling isn’t that bad, also make you feel a positive vibe, and more relaxing.
Fourth, be a joiner. There’s meaning in connection with other people. Consider sharing your sense of emptiness with another person. If there’s no one in your life you trust with that information, a support group could be valuable. A grief support group might be a good choice.
Fifth, be honest and kind to yourself. You can’t be closer to another than you are to yourself, rather than looking to other people to fill you up. You can start by treating yourself well. This is where the term ‘me time’ must be applied in your life. As long as it’s not excessive you can still pamper yourself occasionally to avoid emptiness feeling.
Finally, you don’t have to live your life feeling empty if you don’t want to. You deserve a good relationship with yourself and a meaningful, purposeful life. Let this ways reach that part of you that’s there under the surface, waiting to reconnect and dispel those feelings of emptiness.
